Your conversations are yours.
What happens to your voice, your messages and your data, in plain words.
Audio
Call audio is streamed to the AI interpreter and translated as it plays. It is not recorded, and nothing on our servers can play a call back.
Recordings
Calls are never recorded. Voice messages you send are kept with the chat so they can be played later — turn on disappearing messages and they are erased.
Transcripts
No transcript of a call is kept. A voice message keeps its transcript and translations beside it, so each reader can read it in their language.
Data control
Delete a chat, your call history or your whole account in the app, at once. No ads, no tracking, and your data is never sold.
Privacy policy
Prizm lets two people who speak different languages talk to each other. The privacy policy says what the app and our servers hold about you, why, and for how long.

What is Prizm?
A calling and messaging app that translates. You speak and write in your language, and the other person hears and reads theirs — on calls, in chats and in voice messages.
How does live call translation work?
Each of you picks a language. During the call an AI interpreter listens, translates what is said and speaks it to the other person in their language, in a voice matched to the speaker's — while you talk, not afterwards.
Do both people need Prizm?
No. Send an invite link and the other person joins from their browser, with nothing to install. A guest talks on the minutes of the person whose link they used.
Can I join a call without an account?
Yes. Open the invite link you were sent — or paste it, or its code, into the box above — then choose your language and your name.
Which languages are supported?
100+ languages and regional variants, from English, German and Arabic to Japanese, Swahili and Tagalog. The full list is in the languages section above.
Does Prizm support voice messages?
Yes. Record a message in your language; the other person can listen to it spoken in theirs, or read its transcript and translation.
Can I record calls?
No. Calls are translated live and never recorded, and no transcript of a call is kept. Voice messages are different: they are recordings you choose to send, saved in the chat with their transcript.
Is Prizm available on Windows and macOS?
Yes — on Windows 10 and 11, macOS (Apple silicon and Intel) and Linux, as well as Android and iPhone. The desktop app signs in to the same account as your phone.
How does Prizm handle my conversation data?
Calls are not recorded. Messages are stored so you can read them on any of your devices, and are sent to the translation provider only to be translated — never to train its models. No ads, no tracking, no data sold. The details are in the privacy policy.
Language shouldn't stop a conversation.
